Fresh out of college in 2013, I started working as an associate producer in documentary film and as a social impact coordinator in DC. My work in social impact was a natural extension of my time spent organizing and interning with community and public media organizations in Philly like WHYY and Media Mobilizing Project.
I moved to Los Angeles 10 years ago and worked in the Sundance Institute’s newly formed diversity initiative which operated across all departments to make Sundance artist programs and festivals more accessible and inclusive. This experience shaped my understanding of artist development and the relationship between film, technology, and social impact. Around this same time, I was a grassroots marketing coordinator for The Film Collaborative where I worked on theatrical releases for independent feature films. From there I had the foundation to work as an independent producer and freelance strategist in film marketing and distribution. In 2020, I formed cc (concrete cement): an LA-based production and creative strategy company.
